How the SSL certificates works?
First, the SSL agreement.
When a visitor enters an SSL-protected website, your SSL certificate automatically creates a secure, encrypted connection with their browser. Your site is most secure when SSL is deployed on all pages and subdomains.
Now you're good to go with your website being encrypted with a SSL
All information passing to and from your website is now encrypted, protecting your sensitive data.
The padlock icon appears on your site
Once the connection is complete, a padlock icon and https prefix appear in the visitor’s browser bar to show visitors to your website they’re safe to browse, shop, email you, subscribe to your mailing list, etc. And if there was a Not Secure tag before, poof now it’s gone.

By utilizing both an SSL and Website Security, you’re ensuring that all aspects of your site are protected.
Depending on your Website Security Suites plan, you can choose from a 30-minute, 12-hour or once-a-day security monitoring and scan frequency. If any malware is found, you’ll be notified immediately.
A WAF is a cloud-based firewall service that screens and protects your real-time website traffic from threats like SQL injection attacks (malicious data that essentially tricks your site into doing something it shouldn’t) and DDoS attacks (crashes your site by overwhelming it with a flood of automated traffic). A CDN is a network of servers around the world that deploy dynamic and static caching so that all content will render quickly and reliably. For example, if someone in Japan visits your site that’s hosted in the US, it’ll load just as quickly as a website hosted in Japan.
We use FTP or SFTP depending on your host server. If your website is hosted with Webaon, we can automatically set up the FTP/SFTP connection for you.
